Mt. Vernon Optimist Club has been offering a Rec All-Star Program for the last 6 years called MT. VERNON ELITE!!!

This Elite program offers a level a step above the rec ball level providing a higher level experience to softball and baseball players.  We play Summer Tournaments based in Central Indiana.  All tournaments are local (within 30 min of our area).  We also play a Sunday Alliance Schedule which are Sunday double headers during the spring to prepare our Elite players for the upcoming Summer Tournament Schedule.  This program is designed to create softball and baseball teams to compete at a higher level giving players the necessary experience for their future development.  You must play Mt. Vernon Optimist Spring Ball to be eligible to tryout for Mt. Vernon Elite.
