Mt. Vernon Optimist is conducting the 4th Annual Baseball/Softball Winter Workout Training Program.  This will be a 8 week program for a minimal cost.  This clinic will be designed to provide proper throwing mechanics, catching mechanics, hitting techniques and gameplay education to players of all ages, baseball and softball. 

This year we will be using the elementary school gyms at McCordsville and Mt. Comfort Elementary Schools.  The schedule will be as follows:

Clinics will run from Jan 7 to Mar 3. We will be off Feb 11.  All clinics will be held on Sundays.

McCordsville Elementary (will be the location for Softball Winter Training)
11:00am to 12:30pm - 8U/10U Softball Fundamental Program
12:45am to 2:15pm - 8U/10U  High Level Training Program (This will be by invitation only)
2:30pm to 4:00pm - 12U/14U Softball Fundamental Program
4:15pm to 5:45pm - 12U/14U High Level Training Program (This will be by invitation only)

Mt. Comfort Elementary (will be the location for Baseball Winter Training)
12:00pm to 1:45pm - Rookie Fundamental Program
2:00pm to 4:00pm - Minor Baseball Fundamental Program
4:15pm to 6:00pm - Pitching Instruction for 9,10,11 year old players.

The clinics will cap out at 20 players per session, so sign up ASAP!! If we receive a large amount of players, the times may be adjusted. 
Pitching Clinics will cap out at 15 players.

Costs
For Softball, the cost for the Fundamental Program will be $65 per player for all 8 weeks of the Winter Fundamental Program.  If your player is invited to the high Level Program, and she wants to play both sessions, the cost will be $100 for all 8 weeks of both Winter Programs.  If the softball player only wants to do High Level Program, the cost will be $75 for all 8 weeks of the High Level Program.  The high level program will be by invitation only.  Marcus Marvin will reach out to you for signing up and fees.

For Baseball, the cost of the Fundamental Program will be $65 per player for all 8 weeks of the Winter Fundamental Program.  The cost for 
Pitching Instruction only will be $75. If your player wants to do the Fundamental Winter Program and the Pitching Program, the cost will be $100 for both Winter Programs.  In order to sign up for the Pitching Instruction in addition to the fundamental training, you will need to reach out to Marcus Marvin (info listed at bottom of page), for instructions on how to sign up for both.

Equipment
Your player will need to come with their own equipment (bat, glove, face mask (softball only), and gym shoes only.

ONLY WATER WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE GYMS.  NO GATORADE OR SUGAR BASED DRINKS WILL BE ALLOWED!
